 done for the resolution side challenge for january

my theme is composites, overlays or textures ..

i took this photo five minutes before i took the photo of katee .. and used it as an overlay .. feel free to use it anyone ..


ps.. on my last photo of katee Michelle colorcarnival said .. "I'm participating more just so I can see pictures of Katee :) :)"

so that is why this photo of katee has made an appearance ..
i'm not overly happy with the edit i did ..and i do think its a bit busy ... may have been better to add a texture rather than the ferny things .. :(

Those ghostly, ferny things add to the sense of wistfulness in her intent gaze. She is over there, whatever has her attention is over here and she can't get through.

There is so much longing in his eyes.
I like everything about this image and I find the overlay enhancing a lot the story, a lot more than a simple texture one

That horizontal tree limb appears to be holding her back. Simple to navigate around and isn't that life.
