 Wasn't quite what I had planned for my first submission but the weather was so cold and grey I didn't fancy a trek to the nearest waterway!
Second attempt at oil and water. Learning each time.

Bowl placed above a coloured paper bag. LED light through the water. No food colouring - never thought of that. Or ice. Maybe the next time.... :-)

it's fun to play around with that - I tried it myself once, many years back for a "in the style of" challenge - I used shiny colored mylar sheets, which seemed to work well for achieving depth of color

Lovely. I am never happy with the results when I try this :( This is very nice. The circles are well defined and I like the colors. I would be quite satisfied with this :)

and you are entering with a blast .. loving those incredible bright and beautiful colours .. the yellow lime area makes me think of far distance .. like light years .... your circles have become like stars .. another dimension .. :)

Oh how fun. Did you use food coloring as well or just colored lighting? try throwing some ice cubes in the mix, it gives some great textures and patterns.
