One of my favorites. It gets the nonsensical vibe of the cult classic just right. And it's just a really well-seen and processed composition visually, regardless of subject matter.

Thought for sure this would be in the top three. This is visual satire at its finest. I'm not sure I followed all of what you were saying about your cloning and body-swapping stuff, but whatever you did sure works just great in the final product. I never would have imagined this to be anything but a well-dressed, semi-mythical character.

On a sidenote, having read your notes, I'm now feeling inclined to also point out how impressed I am with your handling of the white space. How in the world, if this was shot outdoors, did you manage to get such a convincing grey-on-white shadow down there???

Definitely feels like this would be part of a comedy bit on SNL or something. Good job!

You really captured the b-movie horror vibe with this composition, Roz. I never would have guessed that was your grandson's face! But you definitely got that Hitchcockian VERTIGO expression exactly right. And all your processing and compositing choices are just really nicely handled.

I loved this one. It must have taken some studied precision to so accurately recreate not only the look but also the mood and aura of the original. It also exhibits the thing that most impresses me in your portfolio: human subject control. You have some kind of black magic when it comes to capturing people in ways that are obviously posed yet don't feel even the least bit inauthentic. It's inspiring.

This was a top pick for me. It immediately evokes all the calm feelings I most need to feel in modern life. I'd love to have this as an accent wall in a coffee shop.

A 10 from me here. I literally could not think of any way I would have imagined this scene being presented more pristinely than you've composed and processed it here.

I was super interested to see what sort of kit you were using to capture this, and now that I see it was the P900 I can confidently say THIS is the sort of image that demonstrates why it's time for camera manufacturers to revisit the disruptive low- to mid-market enthusiast demographic that the bridge camera was originally conceived for. I applaud your masterful application of tools here.

Loved this one. An exceptionally well-balanced composition in every respect, subject matter notwithstanding. Nice titling, too. It makes this less of a bird photo and more of a mood piece--which is exactly how it registers on first viewing anyway.

This one has a very distinctive fine art feel to me. Reads immediately yet makes you want to linger and take it in for longer.

Figured this would place first. :-) It's always nice seeing an unfamiliar face in an experimental portrait like this. I responded to this one immediately. And this is no slight whatsoever, but my first thought was actually how much this reminded me of the original Warcraft video game cover graphic. It has that visceral, battle-ready intensity to it. Congrats!
