This is me, of course. I am my only model at the time.

I hauled the old bench from it's final resting place and then shot this with a timer... running in as I usually do. Looked at it and said to myself that I could make that shot work.

Then, I realized that I wanted to have my hands showing as Tom Hanks' do in the real poster.

So, I'd already taken off Hubby's pants... no one can see me on our land, it's kinda warm here, so I went out to shoot that... pants less. (The jacket covered all of the semi-interesting parts anyway.)

But, my legs! Oh Gee Golly... are they fat, old, and ugly?!

(answer is "most definitely")

I had forgotten that I'd have to show my fat, old, ugly legs to SC if they asked.

I nixed that in a heartbeat. Cloned the right hand, swapped it horizontally and called it done.

You can thank me, SC. :D

Better than the original movie poster. I also love the hat and the attaché case. Congratulations, Lydia..

Thought for sure this would be in the top three. This is visual satire at its finest. I'm not sure I followed all of what you were saying about your cloning and body-swapping stuff, but whatever you did sure works just great in the final product. I never would have imagined this to be anything but a well-dressed, semi-mythical character.

On a sidenote, having read your notes, I'm now feeling inclined to also point out how impressed I am with your handling of the white space. How in the world, if this was shot outdoors, did you manage to get such a convincing grey-on-white shadow down there???
