courthouse stepsby krnodilComment: I love this shot, wonderful dof and the black and white captures a feeling of slightly dilapidated grandeur perfectly...Stangely this feels almost enhanced by the fact that the shot is so sharp and you have avoided going for a noisy/grainy effect |

Dogwoodby noranekoComment: Top photograph.
Love the off centre symettry and the outstanding dof employed. The flower has a wonderful 3D effect
Superb! |

Through the door to nowhereby bergiekatComment: Love the simplicity of this shot, tones and contrasts are wonderful and it takes a lot of skill to make a picture out of nothing. Maybe (just maybe) I would have tried to clone out the handle, but this is just a very minor tweak rather than anything major |

Day-7by SandyPComment: So let me get this right...you are in the front of a moving car and you still manage to take a better shot of a building than I would with plenty of set up time....sigh!!!!!
Like the whole overall impact of what you have captured, but the graduated sky and the way it makes the dome stand out is simply sublime |

Fires of industryby jackal9Comment: Always a tricky thing taken a pile of rubbish and making it look good. For me this works pretty well and the large wheel on the left hand side is sharp and toned to perfection. Possibly could do with either a slightly lower crop or bokeh as the wall (for me) does tend to distract a touch |

DAY 8. B&W. aLi & katee ..by rozComment: Interesting montage, to be honest I really like the image of ali on the left and the half face on the right (which is part of the broader background) is outstanding so much expression in that single eye (which btw is toned to perfection)
For me the other two pics dont necessarily add that much to the montage (that is not to say they are not good pics, but they seem to clutter the overall picture a bit). Having said that I say look at your triptych portfolio and look at my one effort at this (in the competition) and ask yourself...does this joker really know what he is talking about in terms of multiple images |

Wheelsby RetroesqueComment: This is a wheely good shot (groan!!!)
Certainly think the lady on the zimmer should be arrested as there is definitely no indication that zimmers are allowed
Have to say that the image made me smile (never a bad thing), perhaps (if you had your time again) it would have been even better if you could have cropped out the grass on the left and the wall on the right and got a touch more of the lady in,but in truth there are times when you only have a second to shoot (especially if zimmer lady was giving it some!!!!) and you have to take what you can
