Crikby aliquiComment: Very nice - the faded colours and the patch of mist or smoe give it a really mysterious feeling |

The First Photoby dahlinComment: Very cute - I like the vignette and the overall contrastiness and the gloved hand adds a scale but also some tension - when they're that small they look very tiny. |

Foxy Afterby WriteHeartComment: That's a nice looking dog.
My suggestion for starting cs5 (and i have only cs3 but i would imagaine it's pretty much the same in this respect) would be to use a levels layer. I think this picture looks a little too bright - playing with the levels sliders would help it maybe - and then you can also get used toi the idea of painting effects in and out on the layer mask - which is the biggest thing of all. Remember to use the icon at the bottom of the layers palette to start your levels command - if you use the commands in the menu bar at the top of the screen the change will be applied to the whole image with no layer mask to work with. |

glitterby JutildaComment: There's a really good shape in here - especially with the subdued colours - and a mirror of the wave in the background |

Body Surfing by KelliComment: Very cute - I particularly like the static hair - i used to rub my kids against my jumper and then stick them to the ceiling |

Vastby AliciaComment: Maybe I'm just perverse but I find this picture disconcerting, quite uncomfortable. I don't feel whimsy at all, it's more like a still from a beach version of Twin Peaks. I think it has something to do with the slanting rays of sunlight and the pattern of the raindrops. The people look like thay are going to walk for ever. |

Left Turnby GregoryBComment: Although I realise that butterflies have compound eyes, I can't help thinking that this moth has distinctly deranged pupils, giving it a demented look seldom seen in the insect world. The slanted crop helps. Very nice. |
