A Day in the Life by TuckersmomComment: This is just fantastic. The toning really works well here, and the facial expression on the waitress is right on the money. You've really done a great job capturing the mood and essence of the coffee shop. Great work here! Good luck in the challenge. |

Into the Sea of wordsby WilltorecordComment: This shot has lots of potential - the toning really works here. My eye kind of wandered around a little too much before it settled on a focal point. It was hard to choose between the people at the tables, and none of them have a great facial expression. Overall, this a good shot. |

Birthdayby karmatComment: Nice starburst effect on the flame. The shadow is a bit distracting, and I don't understand the significance of the stones in the cupcake wrappers. Why not use a real cupcake? |

Friendshipby CalliopeKelComment: Good idea. With regard to composition, there appears to be too much negative space on the left and not enough on the top of the frame. The selective saturation doesn't add very much visual interest, as increasing attention to the clothing doesn't reinforce your theme of friendship. Overall, a good shot. |
