Like the use of DOF here with the colour red in the background.

To bad I can't read Japanese past about a pre-school level :D

I know this may sound odd, but I wish she didn't have so much make-up on. I don't feel it adds anything to what would otherwise be a wonderfully touching picture.

Bonjour from the Critique Club!

Composition is excellent. The minimalism works well in this picture. The gradient in the sky is quite nice, and could perhaps even be enhanced a touch more. The simplicity works well with the oddness of the shapes.

I like your title, but I always thought amoebas were flat, aquatic, unicellular organisms. This makes the interpretation a little difficult for me, even if they are suppose to be from outer space...

I fell like the sand, or whatever the terrain is could have been lightned a bit to help contrast against the sky. On the bottom right, where the sun is, the colour there is quite nice and it would have been nice to have seen more of the earthy colours.

I'm also not a fan of the shadow on the second 'amoeba.'

In general, I like the picture. It's a strong composition of the minimalist type, which gives it an extra-terrestrial feel.

Cheers

Well done. This is one of those pictures that keeps drawinf me back to look at it. The contrast, the wings, the tutu... very creative, and very well done. Congratulations
