| Pity the kid does not look happy it would have bought that extra something to the shot, he is also very centred in this crop. Still excellent DOF, and nice capture. bumping up score. |

| Wow! This would be a nine or ten if he wa showing a little emotion. You did everything perfect that you could do technically. I'm ok with the centered composition because the red and white background is what really makes this photo great. Anyone who complains about your composition hasn't evaluated you photo enough. Color is part of composition too.... not just position. Well done. |

| Despite what all the books say, I think the centered composition here works well. His bored expression plays against the "fun" we think of when we think about facepainting. A very good shot :) |
