Passing Throughby shutterphunkComment: One of my favourite images from this challenge. You've used negative space brilliantly here to convey the 'darkness feeling'. Within the tunnel the colours are interesting enough to keep the viewer enthralled by the relatively small subject and the blurry character in red in the tunnel is a good finishing touch.
10!

Stealing the sunby thelucasComment: I recommended this for DQ as it's too good to be true ;)
I'm hoping this image is legit, though. The only problem I have with the shot is that there appear to be fingers on the left hand side (?!). Did you achieve the dramatic contrasts with curves and selective colour? I'll be interested to know what this looked like originally.
Good luck with this challenge, a dramatic image! A 9 from me because of the weird black shaped silhouette on the left which detracts from the image. Good luck!

The dying of the lightby oOWonderBreadOoComment: Without the flaring and with slightly better lighting this image could definitely be a ribbon contender. As it is, though, there's something missing from this otherwise excellent idea.
5 - good luck :)

......from belowby bladComment: I recognize that staircase! Similar to an image that ribboned in a challenge a little while ago. Good expression of darkness, I like the tones and the slight grain. 8

Weather Delay by bruskiComment: You should put this into a tutorial called, "perspective" ;)
Great use of super wide angle to accentuate the size of the digger thingy, the sky is dramatic and provides a good backdrop. Bummer about the ISO but it came out fine after the noise editing software :) I messed up a few good shots that way hehe.
Kudos on your top 5, man :) |

Pass the cement, please.by cwalmyeComment: Great capture of this wirey old builder. I like the way this is composed and I think the B&W works pretty well here. Congrats on your ribbon :)
