Harry Sby vtruanComment: The runner up I was going to enter was a portrait of Lincoln. Good job, I happen to like the shallower DOF on this. |

Our small Worldby v_prageComment: I really like this one. I didn't think I did at first, but I spent so much time exploring it that I had to give it a high score (8). I normally don't like centered subjects or reflecive objects that reveal the photographer... but there's just something about this one. Good job. |

Back from the Candy Storeby bmatt17Comment: I like the bakdrop and how the creases (diagonal & horizontal) lead the eye back to the subject. The flash is a bit too harsh and casts too defined of a shadow behind the boy. You might want to try bouncing or defusing the flash next time (can be done w/ a peice of paper if you only have the built-in flash). My only other thought is that the blue on blue is a bit detracting. |

More hot chocolate pleaseby aKiwiComment: I really like this one. The expression was captured perfectly. My only constructive critisim is that I would have cropped in more from the right so the boy fills the whole frame; I might even go as far as making the right edge even with the back of his neck - It put's his eyes at that magical 3rds point and really focuse the attention to his face. |

Chips Ahoy!by ElemmennopeComment: Excellent idea & composition. I like how the diaginal lines between the chips lead the eye back to the boat from the top of the frame. |
