Awesome macro! You might try focusing on the eye the next time, but I'm just being picky... Otherwise everything else is wonderful, particularly the lighting. :)

I knew it was FDR, but how many folks didn't. Just curious if I'd get comments.

Franklin D... a major faux pas. Good focus despite the shallow DOF- looks like he nicked himself shaving.

Nicely lit - slightly awkward crop. More of chin and left side would be good.

The runner up I was going to enter was a portrait of Lincoln. Good job, I happen to like the shallower DOF on this.

I like this a lot. Great texture and 3 dimensionality. Like the silvery hues. this is really really good. Hope it ribbons.

Too shallow DOF and the composition seem a bit flat. Good exposure and details (5)

Nice shot but what is the title supposed to mean, is it a refrence to his sucsessor, or did you get it mixed up? As far as the image, nice B&W conversion with silky tones , but a bit too shollow on the DOF, would have been good to get the eye in focus.

This is very good. Perfect angle. Not too flat or angled so much that a great deal of focus is lost. Great job. ~10

Franklin D, actually. nice macro with great detail. I like the perspective on the shot and your tones are great.

nice angle. don't mean to be picky, but would like a little more dof (the jaw looks a little weak). great lighting.

... or Franklin D. but whatever. Super macro definition. Every nick and scratch is evident in sharp relief. Excellent super close-up technique!
