This one had me and a friend guessing all week. First we discussed - "Any idea WHATSOEVER what those white things are??" Then I did Google searches, both general and image . . . warning - do not put the word "hairy" in a search, especially in combination with the word "vegetable", unless you want to see some images you won't be able to unsee (as they say). Then I did a screen shot on just the big one and put that in the image search. Best match? Sheep, hands down! I even searched mushrooms because I suspected that was what it was - but turned up nothing.

These are fascinating. And, really, humble and endearing as Mariuca said.

I loved this one. Filter/effect is new to me and I would love to know more. It's certainly perfect for the photo and the photo is most intriguing.

At a quick run-through of the entries last night, this one was one of my top two. The HDR look might be a little strong for me, but not much. And I LOVE the two photos. Highly effective. Will doubtless be back for a bump.
