    Biography: I began as a novice around 1983 through 1987- mostly with my Canon F-1, A-1 and an older AE-1Program...but the A-1 was my primary camera. Mostly focused (no pun) on nature photography or candid shots of people, architecture or whatever caught my eye such as wrought iron gates on the Battery in Charleston or a magnolia leaf and flower in Savannah or windmills in Nieuwegein, Netherlands. Children, job and other activities slowly pushed photography out but now I am coming back as a beginner once again. Armed with a new digital camera. I am anxious about "re-learning" old techniques and opening my mind to visual layouts that I may have missed more recently. Thanks for a wonderful site like this-- that allows me to explore my hobby and learn from your experiences.
