You are absolutely right Lev - I worked hard to control that to no avail. I fact I had convinced myself that it was an optical illusion (mach effect) so stubborn was it to resolve.

ominous! love the texture visible in the wall circles Congrats on your ribbon, Paul! (seems a bit of a halo around the building, or is it my imagination?)

Love this! Only wish it wasn't so centered with the difference between each side. I would like to see more of one or the other. The processing is dynamic!!

Wonderful contrast between the two textures and good BW conversion.
My favorite in this bunch. Hope this ribbons blue.

My only nit is that the title should've been more creative to match the picture's standard.

Oh! Wow!!! Love the yin/yang thing, and the bold contrast, the gorgeous little ovals all lined up and perfect, and the wildness of the clouds. Gorgeous!!!!!!

Natural diptych. The tones are fabulous and the juxtaposed natural and man-made are really good. This is yin and yang in the most wonderful sense. 8

Great texture, great sky. I love the 50/50 split, like a yin & yang that really nails home the S. Excellent photo.
