 When I was thinking of a title, I was going to go with 'Downward Spiral', but felt it was too literal. Instead, I took some of the lyrics from the Nine Inch Nails song of the same title.

Thank to Paulbtlw for putting together the beat your own average side challenge. If it weren't for that SC, I probably would have never shot for this challenge.

A few have asked where/what this is. This is a staircase at the Art Gallery of Ontario. Designed by starchitect Frank Gehry. Gehry is also behind the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao Spain, the EMP in Seattle, and the Dancing House in Prague.

Awesome work man!!! As soon as I saw this image I remembered when you ran in there on the GTG in January to take that other pic of the stairs and I knew that this one HAD to be yours. I was right!

Very nice spiral but S? I'm probably just missing it. 5.

I've come back to have a better look and realised I was wrong with my first assessment. I'm led nicely to the centre and the B&W works wonderfully. Bumped to an 8.

This looks like a beautiful peace of art. I don't really like the composition, I like it better in ladscape. The title is not adding anything, a story or imagination.
