Cool water shot, but I didn't like the blurred trees in the background.

soda water? nice touch

Nice job showing the contrast between the focus'd water and the out of focus'd tree.

Water dropplets look weird. Maybe soap. Cliche with an interesting touch.

My, what bubbly water! Interesting.

Soapy water on glass? Very 2D look, and missing the feeling of motion somehow.

Water is always hard to stop completely, but this one is done very well.

Amazing focus on the water, and the compostion of the bubbles echoing the shape of the tree behind is great thinking.

cool look. the blurr tree actually adds, I think, to the effect.

i suppose this was stuff springing up off a branch? weird crystalling effect. interesting. might be cooler without the tree in the background as more of an abstract.

I like the way the background is blurred, but mirrors the action of the water, which IS in focus. Nice shot, good title.

Good title, Clever idea; better than the other water pics.

bubbles in the water make it look weird

nice action, good depth of field and composition, wish that tree wasn't there but at least it's out of focus and my eye is allowed to zero in on the subject

I like the concept, but both of the trees are distracting for me -- maybe a different angle?

bored with water now

Ingenious! Now this is thinking out of the box. Not only capturing a stop-action, but providing an analogy in the background.

Looks almost like it's built from little blobs of melted glass!
I'm a big fan (or at least user) of parallel shapes in composition -- you have a great example here.

nicely done....very creative....taken in the heat of the moment....

This looks cool. How did you achieve the bubbly look?
04/15/2002 04:06:00 PM
Weird, All the bubbles in the water. Cool

water.. go figure
04/15/2002 12:30:00 PM
i'm not sure what it is, but it strikes me as spit on glass. I like how you used the tree in the background to mirror it though.

Water, Water Everywhere !

This is really good. One of the most original ideas here. Wow.

An original twist to the water drop idea.... nice

I hope others catch the meaning of this photo the way I have. I wanted to complain about framing and composition until I really studied this photo. This is very nice! I'm not going to offer you any criticism on this photo because I like it just the way it is. Damn fine job!

cool symmetry between the water and tree. Like it. Colours could be a bit richer though, especially the sky. A polarizing filter could help a lot with that.
