I dont know why I initally rates this so low. This is actually a vary nice stop image shot. I like the narrow range of focus. Good composition. |

I have to say you had the best water shot in the challenge, great job, nice composition. |

great how you stopped the action and caught the color |
|

Very crystalin shot. sharp definition on droplets of water and I like the deformation of the surface. The little green dot in the near center of the picture is most distracting. |

Great clear shot, with a very soft feeilng to it. Very well done. |

This is right on. I love it. The colors, the comp, the action. Good luck. |

It's a top! Its a water pistol! It's a shock wave!, oh, wait, just rain. Excellent! |
|
|
04/19/2002 12:18:00 PM |
Definetly the coolest of all the water photos! Too bad its just not that original |
|
|
04/19/2002 01:46:00 AM |
the short depth of field works well here, but I would have exposed it a touch darker. |
|
|

The perfect spherical droplet. I can feel the shockwave racing outward towards me from each droplet. Reminds me of "Honey I shrunk the kids". I am very impressed with your timing. Great shot!! |

Bright, clear water. Good angle. One of the better water photos, I think. |

personally i love water, and its really a true beauty to a water drip's motion stop. you could see how crystal clear and vital the water is and i also love the focus on the water and background is just blurry... |

Nice macro work. Gravity demands a little CCW rotation, but this is nice and sharp. The depth of field is right on, just softening the very bottom of the frame and getting the drop and all of that great, soft first swell in perfect focus. Distilled water next time. |

droplets getting to be a theme? |

Beautiful timing, very impressive |

Nice shot! You really captured the "contact splash" well. The blurriness of the background makes the water drop sharper, I think (betcha have comments both ways on this)> |

excellent texture on that water! i wonder what the scale is here? |

I like the touch of color provided by the rainbows in the water. |
|
|
04/17/2002 03:46:00 AM |
well caught, technically spot on - maybe if you had delayed your shot by 0.00004 of a millysec you would have frozen the splash!!! |

Makes me thirsty looking at it! Nice shot. I like the off center framing, you managed to keep the ripple in the frame. A slightly tilted angle might make it more interesting |

Absolutly beautiful. You cought not only the drops, but the spash too |
|
|
04/15/2002 11:49:00 PM |
*Gasp* This is so beautiful! The two suspended drops are ethereal. And the mound made by the impact is gripping also. Well-cropped, nice off-center emphasis, lighting nicely reflected. |

Ineresting low-angle perspective, and I like the bi-colored look of the upper drops. |

Now this is a AWESOME water/stop action capture. The brightness and natural color here and there and crisp clean overall feel to it are great ! |

Cool - well captured, I tried to get this for ages and gave up :) Nicely framed and great focus/ depth of field use. |
