A great photo.

I didn't know exatly what the shiny objects were but it didn't affect my love for the imagery.

Now that I know that the objects were cd's I really apreciate the technical merits of the photo.

I had this as one of my 3 best and was suprised so many rated it below average. do you guys actually take photographs?
04/22/2002 12:27:00 PM
But what is it? I still don't get it!
04/22/2002 10:03:00 AM
I still think this should have placed higher -- you want motion, this is motion.

What am I looking at? Cool!
04/20/2002 07:19:00 PM
Very creative and a great effect.
04/20/2002 09:16:00 AM
Too confusing for me.
04/20/2002 03:58:00 AM
You got me. I wish I had one of those.
04/19/2002 03:24:00 PM
Crazy shot, I would be with the majority by asking how you did it but that is for another time. I like the motion, the face and the colors.
04/19/2002 10:07:00 AM
This is a great image but I can't make heads or tails of it and it doesn't seem real.
04/19/2002 01:25:00 AM
i can't for the life of me figure where you are. behind a fish tank? it's highly creative though.
04/18/2002 03:14:00 PM
Really nice, how did you do it?
04/18/2002 01:01:00 PM
craziness!
04/18/2002 10:14:00 AM
This is a very original entry. It looks like you a giving your cd collection a shower. Am I right? Anyway, it is colorful and a fun photo to look at.
04/18/2002 07:57:00 AM
That is just fantastic! Bravo!
04/18/2002 06:09:00 AM
Not sure what this is - so, really not sure what I'm seeing in 'stopped motion', if I don't know what it's supposed to do. (cd's under water? pic's behind a lava lamp?) color and clarity are good though :)
04/17/2002 11:43:00 PM
wild!
04/17/2002 06:47:00 PM
Not quite sure what this is but it's neat.
04/17/2002 04:14:00 PM
These CDs look familiar... :o) There's a lack of direction to the droplets though, making this feel more static.
04/17/2002 11:08:00 AM
refelctions in a cd create a strange surreal world
04/17/2002 10:57:00 AM
My first impression, "What the heck?" Around a 4.
Then, I showed it to my husband, we studied it, and my second impression was, "That's cool." 7 or 8
Thought about it, want it on my wall. a 10.
Don't know how you did it, really don't care. That's a cool picture.
04/16/2002 05:57:00 PM
there's too much going on in the picture.
04/16/2002 05:16:00 PM
cool pic, i want to know how you got this shot, it looks altered
04/16/2002 05:06:00 PM
Definitely turbulence ;-)
04/16/2002 04:44:00 PM
A little too cunfusing. ;-)
04/16/2002 02:40:00 PM
wow this is nuts! is this on a mirror? i would love to know how you did this!
04/16/2002 01:52:00 PM
nowt' tranquile about this mayhem scene - superb colours' composition and impact that most of the other submissions have missed by a mile! - seem to recognise those CD's from soewhere though?
04/16/2002 11:57:00 AM
um...not real??
04/16/2002 10:31:00 AM
Wow. I'm completely lost -- you need to post some pictures of your setup here, so we can see how to create an image so chaotic. Very nice job, and excellent creativity.
04/16/2002 09:38:00 AM
Very unusual. One of my top 3 photos. Great color, composition, lots of movement expressed, even the image of the women in the water. This almost gives me the impression of a photoshopped image but I know thats against the rules so the technical merit here makes this my second favorite photo.
04/16/2002 06:58:00 AM
Lots of colors and a very busy image. There's always new things to find when looking at this shot. Well done.
04/15/2002 10:00:00 PM
I can't wait to see how this was done! Doesn't seem possible!
04/15/2002 07:51:00 PM
what's this supposed to be..... nice job by the way... it's very creative and very colorful...almost too colorful... almost makes you wonder how someone pulled this off.....hmmmmmmmmmm.
04/15/2002 07:10:00 PM
very interesting photo. I keep going back to it and seeing something new each time. Outstanding.
04/15/2002 06:12:00 PM
This is so awesome. I am not sure how to respond to this. Just one question. How? I love the guys look!
04/15/2002 05:26:00 PM
Winner! Very original. I even know how you did it and I bet the original looks super cool. I had a very unique way of pulling mine off too except nobody knew to ask anything and it wasn't as clever as yours. I just hope people don't put this down thinking it was scanned because I know it wasn't. Excellent job.
04/15/2002 03:39:00 PM
Cool use of the images on the compact discs to add interest.
04/15/2002 03:20:00 PM
I need some help from you. #1 - I don't really understand this photo. If you could tell me a little about how it was done, I could possibly adjust my score...
04/15/2002 02:56:00 PM
Probably the most interesting shot in the group. I have to keep looking at this to figure out what score to give it. Very very interesting shot. Nice work!
04/15/2002 02:25:00 PM
Very nice composition, I like what you did with the reflected image of face and hands. Are those the same bunch of CD's used in last weeks curves competition/ Bravo on the originality of your photo!!!
04/15/2002 02:01:00 PM
water.. go figure
04/15/2002 01:10:00 PM
This is just really original... whats going on here?
04/15/2002 12:33:00 PM
too busy
04/15/2002 11:46:00 AM
what's going on
04/15/2002 10:58:00 AM
An amazing shot. A lot going on. Too much for me
04/15/2002 09:44:00 AM
CDs under the shower ? Colourful shot - I like it.
04/15/2002 09:21:00 AM
How'd you do this?
04/15/2002 09:12:00 AM
Really colorful and fun. Is that a fish tank?
04/15/2002 06:53:00 AM
Kind of a new wave 80's music video groove. CDs and water? It's a bit busy, thus confusing.
