Miserable, rainy weather all day today, so I shot out of the window in the kitchen. This young lady was apparently waiting on a friend, and busied herself with stretches and jumping jacks while she waited. Her cell phone kept falling out of her pocket. She'd stretch or jump, drop the phone, pick it up and check to see it worked, put it back in her pocket, then repeat all of the above.
i think there's a saying that goes something like this .. definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results .. but i spose she may not have been expecting different results ..
she might be wanting her parents to by her a new cell phone, but they wont coz the one she has now does the job .. she might be thinking that if its broken they'll get her a new one .. get her the one she really wants/needs .. the one that has so many more things than the one she has now .. she's so over the one she has now .. she's had it like at least 2 months .. !!! ... hence the exercises .. lol lol .. !!!
At least you had something of interest to look at outside while you were comfy inside:} It's a pretty neat photo on top of it all! You would think she might put her phone in a pocket where it might stay put. Kids...
Hmmmm, maybe those new cameras that can also tke movies will find a place in our hearts after all. Sounds like a great candidate situation. Even so, the sill image has a wonderful dynamic quality with the subject position implying motion and contrasting with the stiff upright elements in the background. Well captured combining simplicity with human interest.
