Collection:030 - JUNE 09. WHERE I LIVE Location: just coming off the M5 motorway onto picton road Date: Jun 14, 2009 Aperture: f5 ISO: 320 Shutter: 1/5 Galleries:Travel, Blur Date Uploaded: Jun 15, 2009
coming home from the shops with greg GregoryB driving .. we were at the intersection, just about to turn into picton road ..
i wanted to get blur and the lights of passing vehicles ..
after i got home and saw them on the computer i realised i had the shutter speed too slow .. its often hard to gauge coz you dont know in advance how fast they'll be going ..
i wanted more definition ..
the blur is a fairly large truck ..
Lol, I got a truck blur like that once while shooting sunsets, but it was only about 3 ft away when it went by at 60 mph.
I like the shot for it's honesty.
roz-- no matter where or what your doing the shutter is always blasting away. this is somehow futuristic. love it!
i hope you where keeping your speed safe.
