done for the june - where i live side challenge

working at my computer about 20 mins ago and heard a bird chirping .. looked out the window and saw this Magpie-Lark/Pee Wee on the hanging pot ..
info on Magpie-Larks
i didnt want to frighten him away so i took the photograph thru the screen and glass window.

after some comments ..
should'v said that the vertical is a downpipe outside not the window frame

Taking this through the wondow, with the window frame, gives a different effect to this photo than if it was just the bird. In many ways, it makes it much more interesting. The window frame gives an almost split pairing to the photo, as if we have two different photos, but because of the edge of the basket and the next one in that space, works well and ties it to the image, without being a dominant element. The black and white processing is really good and works well for this. An interesting image for the side challenge
