| Nothing against the other photographer with a similar shot in this challenge, but I think your photo was superior hands down. I really like the angle of the shot and the richness of the photo. |

I'm hoping to leave comments on as many photo's in this challenge as possible... out of (currently) 1121 images, I gave 98 of them an 8. Your image was one of those 98, placing you well within the top 10% for this challenge.
There are two almost identical shots of this location in this challenge, but I rate yours more highly. The colours and processing on your shot feel so much more natural (I was there myself last year on my honeymoon). I also prefer that your vantage point and framing excludes the sky, helping the viewer to focus on the horseshoe itself.
Good luck for a strong finish in this challenge. |

| I just saw this place in an image a few minutes ago; it's understandable that photographers would be drawn to it. Looks like it might have been overcast as light is a little flat, but still a lovely scene. |

| I wish the view was tilted up a bit more. It's a bit difficult for me to judge this location because I've seen it so many times before by so many different photographers. The definition in this image is well preserved, but it feels a little off balance somehow... |

| Wow! This is an absolutely stunning photo of one of the many lovely views to be found at the Grand Canyon. It is beautiful there is it not;-) I love the colors! The red of the canyon rock is vibrant and bold. The shape and color of the river as it bends in a horseshoe curve around the center rock spire adds tremendous visual impact as our eye is captivated by this breathtaking view. Is this a spring or near the 'rainy' season for you have the additional lovely view and splash of color of the green that rims around the edge of the river? Great colors, lighting, detail and well-composed shot - thank you for sharing this. |
