 Well, might as well enter, though I have no idea what constitutes a best photo ever taken. Still, there might be a special ribbon awarded for all entries and who would want to miss out on that?!? I just shouldn't have left it so late in looking for a pic - there must be better ones in the hard drive somewhere. ;-)
It's the stream at Shoninzawa, where I went for the Steve Davidson challenge. Beautiful fresh water spring.
Basic sort of editing after converting from RAW. Cropped a bit off to get rid of an information sign. I actually remembered to use the Curves plug-in for PS Elements 5. I wonder if I should have tried an HDR version...

With 1100 entries or so, I predict this one will finsih 500-600. ;-P

Well, 353 is quite a bit better than what I expected...

I want to go hiking in the woods. This reminds me of Silver Creek Falls near Salem, OR. Ferns, moss-covered rocks, a small brook tumbling gently down.

Beauty in the summertime for sure. Nicely done getting the blur from the water during the day time without over exposing the pic. The greens and brown tones look great and your water is silky smooth. Plus it draws me off into the distance.

I enjoy the processing to get everything properly exposed and not go hyper color green. It feels minimally processed, which I think is good.
