Voted earlier coming back to leave a comment. Hey, I've read about this dolphin who visits boaters down in the Florida Keys! So this is a capture of this friendly creature - must have be quite a cool experience!!! Great shot of him leaping up out of the water! As much as I take enjoyment in looking at the photo I do have a critique (I know, I know picky picky right;-) ) I think the focus should and can stay on Mooch (or Moochie as he is sometimes called) by cropping off the top third of the photo. The wide expanse of ocean, boat wake, and land in the distance does nothing to compliment the scene. Mooch is the star of this photo, bring us closer to him so that we can get an up close and personal view of his beauty. |

WOW, this is just fantastic, I've not seen anything like this before ... I really shouldn't criticize but I would be tempted to just crop the top off as I'm not keen on the oof green which is the only thing stopping me giving you a 10 so 9 it is :) |

Cute :) I know its probably impossible to get them more in focus but it would have been great if you could have. With everything kind of blurred it ends up looking a little snapshot-ish. Also - maybe crop to have the dolphin more in the upper third of the frame as opposed to the middle? |

I don't ever remember seeing any dolphin photos on DPC like this, ever, until this challenge. Yours is the second. I recall the other one being slightly better, only because it was a more exotic dolphin. Great timing and capture though. |

Dolphin!!!! Instant fave. Great detail and clarity on the fella, the water in the wake is also really great. What a fun shot. I'd have cropped out the land at the top. I don't think it adds anything and keeps drawing my eye away from all the fun. |

I find the horizon a distraction, a crop to about 1/2-way between horizon and the top-left-most part of the wave keeps my eye from wandering too far from your way-cool subject. When all is said and done I say "Nicely done!"
Good luck in the challenge! :) |
