Yes this was shot in the wild. :)
Bald Eagles are pretty rare in my are (central Ontario) so I was very lucky to capture this guy grabbing his lunch from the top of the ice back in Feb.

The feathers and shapes created by the movement are just terrific. You captured the intensity of the predator as well. Great work - I just love birds and you certainly did the eagle justice here.

There are actually a couple of pairs that are now nesting in my area, but you do not see them very often. This was taken along the river just a few miles north of Peterborough.
