| Great image. Congratulations on your ribbon and your whopping personal best! Looks like Iowa was good to you. I didn't notice the dust until I read your comments...I don't think it hurt ya. I got a blue ribbon once with a HUGE blob of dust so sometimes DPC will let a photographer be human...sometimes. :) |

I really like this image because it made me smile. I like the sense of humor tucked away in it. With all that space, no trees, they cut away part of the tree to fit the house. :D

| Beautiful image. I wouldn't beat myself up about the dust spot. I had to really look to find it. I bet it probably didn't affect your score a tenth of a point, if that much. Anyway you've accomplished 5 or more of your goals, all with one image. Congratulations! |

I love the way the tree was butchered on the right side as it grew, yielding to the demands of the house. "Hank, go fetch your axe and cut off some of that tree, it's scratching our bedroom window when the wind blows." We never plant a sapling with a full realization of its mature size.

| this is wonderful. except that little spot center left. something like that spot kills this pure scene. Well not "kills" but mars. I tried to wipe it off my monitor just in case it was my dirt. Couldn't remove it. Love this scene though. Why is there no backgound clutter? very nice indeed. 9 (10 without the spot) |
