Biography: I don't really have a fancy story on how I got into photography
But I got my first digital camera (a Hp Point and Shoot) in 2005 and just had fun taking random pictures
Then I went to a summer camp my church put on and they asked me to take pictures that week
And I think that’s when it hit me I like taking picture.
From there on I started taking pictures for my youth group and I started doing some landscape pictures
That next year I bought a Kodak Advance Point and Shoot and started to take a lot nicer pictures
That year I took 10000 pictures with that camera and I started dreaming for a DSLR camera
At that time I started to go to this college group called Onyx House and became friends with Will Foster
Who at the time had a Canon Rebel XT and later that year he was upgrading to a Nikon d200 and was selling the Rebel XT.
So I made payments and bought it and there my photography eyes opened a lot. I started learning all the basics like shutter speed, aperture, ISO and all that stuff.
Will started to teach me a lot and we started to go on midnight photo shoots. I was still taking pictures for my youth group and stuff probably taking another 10000 or so pictures before I upgraded to my 40D.
And then will showed me this site Strobist and my eyes were opened more on strobes and what you can do with them and he demonstrated one night at his house.
So that leaves me to now, im working on just learning all I can and taking pictures whenever I can and I want to learn all I can so if you can suggest anything to me I will be more than happy to listen and absorb
