Echoes of today's chant still linger O--H--I--O!
Footsteps of greatness still haunt the halls,
Phantom drumbeats remain in my soul
as brass instruments still ring in my ear.
While, tributes to legends flow against the walls
our friendship remembered in the crisp cool air.
This one's for you Bill O'l boy.
A way remains for a photographer to capture your soul.

A tribute to my best friend who passed away just a few years ago. He was a member of The Best Damn Band In The Land! A pastor, father, husban and all around great guy.

Any chance to capture the stadium and I will be there.

Ajusted Saturation slightly, balanced to the floure tubes rather than the tungsten lighting due to nice coloring. Sharpen, Frame thats about it. Looks like the orginal capture.

Not that I am an Ohio State fan, but I will root for them when they are the underdog and against them when they are the powerhouse that they are now. this image is better than mine and most others in this challenge. Maybe most couldn't figure out it was part of the Stadium. I wonder if most are sports fans to the extent that the BIG 10 and SEC (me) football fans are sports fans even though there are an exceedingly large amount of great photographers here. You was robbed.

Fixed the Keystone issue,

I would like to say I thought of that prior to the challenge and I didn't do it due to basic rules but the comments here made me realized I could fix it. The problem was that there was a stand in the middle of the opening or I could hav stepped back.

But NOW I realized I could have climbed on top of the stand and dramatically reduced the issue.

I actually got into the stadium the morning after the game. Got some good shots of trash on the field, cleaning crews with leaf blowers and a frat house with trash all over the lawn, but the weather was terrible and no PP was going to make the shots look good.

Thanks again for the comments.

Interesting idea and subject but the window, which I presume is the focus of the shot is a bit lost in the whole image. The doorways draws my eye right to the top to that bright light. I like the centered composition: 6

Nice color here...great exposure control. Personally, I don't much like the distortion created by the merging verticals, but since this is basic, I completely understand. Strong entry and I hope it does well. :)

Looks like a cathedral. I'll take your word for it that it's a sports venue not religious edifice.

My eye first is grabbed by the "O" but then moves to the top, drawn by the light, and travels slowly down to the gate, where I find myself carried through, where I imagine I would find the expanse of stadium opening before me. It's a shot that looks good at first glance but is so much better when time is taken to absorb and feel all the nuances.

Very nice picture but I had no way of knowing if this was a sporting venue. I don't like to vote good great photographs down. So I lookup Ohio State University to see if this was the entrance to the sporting venue. I found this page and there was the evidence. Long comment short - Followed the details of the challenge with a Great picture and I love the colors, focus, lighting. bump to 10
