it looks staged, but hey, it is a free study! i like the contrast between the flowers and the grass, though the flowers look a bit washed out. still, had it been a more "natural" looking photo i would have scored it a bit higher.

It looks a bit out of focus. Great composition.

clever and great shot showing the dew on the flowers

Soft focus. Nice color.

Clever idea I plan to steal and use a variation of elsewhere sometime...

cute! could stand a little increased saturation imho This would make a nice greeting card.

original concept

This is one of my favorite flowers to photograph. I like the way you have arranged them and used the play on words.

Very nice, but a bit dark, especially near the bottom. 7 Swash

too washed out.

aaw. that's so cute. great colours, and nice concept. these are beautiful.

The lighting on this shot really detracts from its effectiveness. The shadows and darks spots are very distracting. I'd also like to see the colors a little bolder and more saturated.

nice shot but doesn't exactly grab your attention

this is an interesting image but it just doesn't 'grab' me.. = 6 - jmsetzler

does your mum know you did this to her plants?
07/16/2002 03:20:00 PM
i'm not too much of a pretty flower person. sorry.

feels a bit too contrived. well conceived/ taken though.

hey, that's a cool idea, and a nice play on words. great color contrast between the flowers and the grass, and good lighting.
07/15/2002 09:47:00 PM
Did you really find that?
07/15/2002 07:32:00 PM
Good theme. Pretty flowers. Could be a tad sharper and maybe laid on a less distracting background.
07/15/2002 07:17:00 PM
pretty colors, nice photo

Hydrangea on the ground...? Still they are beautiful and the colors are wonderful. Your focus is too soft here. Kee

This really appeals to me.
07/15/2002 01:10:00 PM
nice... not sharp enough...
07/15/2002 12:02:00 PM
I really like this, but I wish the background was something besides grass.Maybe cloth or something?
07/15/2002 10:48:00 AM
Nice colors. Since there's obviously a human hand in this...the purple heart may have had a stronger impact had it been photo'd on a black backdrop. I like grass...but only in 'natural' shots.6 Lisa

good focus and interesting arrangement. title makes photo though.

Nice creative idea. I think the lighting is a bit flat maybe., and it looks a tad fuzzy.
