I totally stole this idea from John Lambiase A.K.A.
Turbotech

He did it much better, but he has much better equiptment and probobly didn't have a cat walking through the shot every few minutes.

I came to learn and I'm glad I invested the time to try to adapt this techique. John's a good teacher. Besides I had fun trying to shoot the light.

Negative space should have a purpose. This is negative space for the sake of the challenge.

Personally, I think I would have shot this at a different angle, perhaps a higher or a lower vantage point. In that way, a complete reflection would have shown. Also, the black background is not too perfect. There is a faint red line that shows up right in the middle.

I like the reflection, but I'm not too crazy about the yellow streak on the left side.
