Not quite as sharp as it could be. Sky is pixelating quite a bit too. Could be too much saturation.

Normally I'd ask for a little more detail on the body, but man those things are freaky aren't they? One came out of a bush when I was a kid about the size of a big bird...I thought it was an dog staring out at me at first).
Great pose though....he calls it "blue steel".

I really like the angle of the photo - that's pretty original. I would have liked to have seen a more prominent background, though (exotic colors in the sky, reflections, or something) Good luck in the contest.

Nice shot. My dragonfly always lands on a rock, so I could never get a pic like this.

NIce detail on the dragonfly. MOving to one of the thirds would have give a more obvious negative space, and would have hinted at the world of the dragonfly in addition to the insect itself.

Wow....I've tried and tried to take pictures of dragonflies, and it always fails!! Great shot, and a nice close-up...I can see all the little veins in his little wings! :)
