This is a truly beautiful church and a great capture of the serenity it must instill just being there.

I've only been here since August and just stumbled across it.

Lovely and peaceful.

Thank you for sharing this place of safety and quiet.

I'm late on my rounds. This is gorgeous. I do SO wish I could libve where such majestic, monumental religious architecture abounds. On Cape Cod there is no such thing as a meeting-place of grandeur. These were simple people and they built simply.

I love Cathedrals etc, can you tell? Been in dozens and dozens of 'em :-)

Great capture! I love it.

Great how the light works with the vanishing point.

Are you doing your own thing now, instead of the stock oriented photography? It seems to yield even better results. :)

The first thing that pops out is the mood you captured. The ambient lighting you captured in your exposure really makes the photo. Btw, I think I've seen this church before in another entry. Perhaps one of Rikki's? Anyway, gets a 9 from me.

Is this you Gary? An awesome picture on way or the other. Should be up there. The question is whether it will be above or below mine. ;) The impression of depth and juxtaposition of both the light windows and darkened vaults is superior. 10

The processing looks like what Kiwiness has been working on lately. It is just on the edge between reality and drawing. Pretty cool effect imo. The intererior looks European and the way it is decorated it could be Lutharian ~ German...
