I had nothing for this challenge. I am not a photo journalist and had no ideas, nothing! But I have to submit something for the League of Death challenge so I'm putting this one in. I am not totally happy with it but it is the best I can come up with for this challenge. It is a candid of two kids watching Nasti take photos of a ballerina on a trampoline :)

You just "put this one in" and you still score over a six. And deservedly so. Your work is outstanding. But we all know that.

But on to more important things...tell us (show us) more about this ballerina on the trampouline......

And I thought the League of Death challenge started with the Photo Journalism challenge so I busted myself trying to get something in for it last minute and find out I didn't really have too, sheesh! Thanks for your comments and votes on this one. I know it isn't tooooo Photo Journalistic but oh well, it did okay anyway :)

Man you can do no wrong. Only 3 votes of a 3 or lower? Don't get me wrong I don't see this as DNMC entry but judging some comments on other entries I would have expected this to garner more than it did.

I can see this in either a newspaper or magazine accompanying a feature article. I like the composition and teh way you've blurred the background just enough for the sharpness of the subjects to stand out.

Anyone with children and concerns for their future in the modern world will identify with this photo and the title. Very nice work.

I like the capture. The title desn't work for me. What's the hope? What is interesting about these boys? Also, the sepia-toning doesn't jive with me for this genre.
