Very Creative photo. Great use of light and composition.
07/21/2002 06:44:00 PM
I like this photo a lot. Very simple but yet very strong. Must be the diagonals ;-) Excellent composition. Balck and white was a good choice.
07/21/2002 06:19:00 PM
the drama and graphic design in this photo is unbelievable. great job!
07/21/2002 05:45:00 PM
I once designed a cassette cover for my band which used a similar diagonal division (not with clouds or window or anything).
07/21/2002 03:57:00 PM
Great use of B&W -- beautiful range of tones. I'm gonna be really picky -- maybe a slightly less cloudy day to give a little more sky to reflect and to break up the clouds a bit. Also, Is that a bird or something on the building in the lower right? I know it's dumb, but that little bit of whatever sticking out detracts from the overall symmetry of the piece for me.
07/21/2002 09:58:00 AM
very good composition
07/20/2002 05:41:00 PM
It's freakin awesome! I can't help myself by giving you a:

Very good composition with interesting lines. I'm curios how this would look in color, but assume that B&W worked better. Good job on this one.
07/20/2002 02:06:00 AM
Very rich image... 8 sjgleah
07/19/2002 04:10:00 PM
Beautiful. The amount of clouds gives to photo a dramatic look and I like the diagonal cut. I find the angle of the vertical lines a little disturbing though.
07/19/2002 09:20:00 AM
At first I thought 8, then 9, then 8, however I think I am going to stick with 9. Would have likely shot out a 10 if this was in next weeks challeneg.
07/19/2002 06:43:00 AM
Indeed, diagonal cuts image in perfect half. Reflections are great
07/19/2002 03:20:00 AM
good clouds
07/19/2002 02:56:00 AM
very different approach, but like it.
07/18/2002 11:06:00 PM
I really like this, and I think it is a well done BW. Good composition and focus. Don't know of anything I would change!
07/18/2002 10:54:00 PM
Cool effect, great use of BW.
07/18/2002 04:21:00 PM
As usual Mr. Setzler (?) you have out done yourself. This is awesome. 10 cthenk
07/18/2002 12:41:00 PM
uggg black & white again
07/18/2002 08:28:00 AM
excellent image... I love the strong diagonal heer and the reflections as well. In most cases, I do not care for diagonals disappering right in the corner of the image. I would like to see this photo with this particular diagonal disappearing off center just a touch... I *do* like the effect that this perfect split creates in this image... good shot! = 9 - jmsetzler
07/17/2002 07:14:00 PM
love this b&w image simply great
07/17/2002 02:21:00 PM
Really great effect. I think I'd like to see the color though.
07/17/2002 11:22:00 AM
This is a really cool shot with great lines. I like the smooth transition between underexposed clouds on the left to overexposed on the right. I might have liked it more if the sky wasn't as cloudy, but that's not a big deal. One of my top 5 this week.
07/17/2002 10:50:00 AM
great concept. i love this.
07/17/2002 10:43:00 AM
I like what you're trying to do here.....
07/17/2002 09:59:00 AM
I like this a lot - very nice composition - I am tempted to say I would have liked to see it in colour instead of b&w though. Simply becuase I love the colours of clouds and sky.
07/17/2002 08:38:00 AM
clouds look good but hard to tell if that is a reflection or a fence with clouds behind it
07/17/2002 03:23:00 AM
great choice of black and white for this one. the grid over the 2nd half of the photograph helps a lot.
while the image is empty and its good, for my taste it a bit too empty.
07/17/2002 02:19:00 AM
Perfect transitions
07/16/2002 10:06:00 PM
cool...I'd love to see this in color. 8 Lisa

awesome, just awesome. 10--amitchell
07/16/2002 04:49:00 PM
Nice and clear. Is this a building?
07/16/2002 03:15:00 PM
very nice
07/16/2002 01:59:00 PM
Godd one! (arnit)
07/16/2002 11:33:00 AM
i like this one. i'm assuming you converted to b&w to make it look more abstract, and it works, but i'm wondering how it would work in color. would you have needed more blue sky? anyway, great idea and implementation! -- gr8photos (7)
07/16/2002 11:19:00 AM
I really like this alot...Great job!
07/16/2002 09:25:00 AM
like the composition on this - works well in B&W to show the textures/ patterns. Wonder if it needs to be rotated though - vertical and rising to a point would be more 'dramatic' ?
07/16/2002 08:55:00 AM
Neat geometry. I'm so happy that the vertical line on the left is parallel to the edge of the frame, even if the others aren't. I sort of wish that the clouds on the right weren't lighter than those on the left which would reinforce the absolute symmetry, but I guess that tends to be the nature of clouds.
07/16/2002 02:58:00 AM
beautiful lighting and great composition. I love it when someone breaks the rules of composition, but still produces a great shot. that sky is sure awesome.
07/16/2002 12:25:00 AM
dont really get the title, but great shot nonetheless...
07/15/2002 09:25:00 PM
GREAT shot.... It took me a minute to figure out what I was looking at.... really made me think. The b&w makes it look as if you are looking through a fence at the clouds. For my next trick I want to try b&w! Thanks. karen_v
07/15/2002 08:10:00 PM
great clouds and reflection
07/15/2002 08:09:00 PM
I can't possibly tell you what it is that I like about this photo, but I am both drawn to it and made slightly anxious by it.
07/15/2002 07:30:00 PM
thats a cool abstract
07/15/2002 05:55:00 PM
I really like this ... I love the use of reflections(which is what I am hoping this is!) on buildings and architechture. I hope you took this as a color then converted it ... I would love to see it in color if you have nice whites and blues to the sky.
07/15/2002 04:30:00 PM
Very nice!!! MJ 8

Amazing, wonderful and I like it!! Kee

Nice pattern shot. No real problems, not very exciting. (I like color, sunset would have been really cool) 6 Swash
