I'm studying your portfolio today. Can you tell?

Great composition here. The living and the non-living - soft and hard; moving and stationary; white and colored. Great opposition. Good work, az.

First noticed your art gallery piece which is still my fave of yours but this is definitely up there. Interesting subject, good composition and loving colours. I hope you've got this on your wall, it feels very encouraging.

Edited to make more sense.

An extremely funny and creative photo and my favorite in the challenge.
I love how the swan seems to be 'communicating' or dancing for the cone.
I'm also fond of the gradient which emphasises the difference between the swan and the cone. It's also illustrative how you've placed the cone and the bird at distance in the frame to emphasise that these two will always be apart despite the obvious affection between them!
All in all, a truly neat picture and it's funny how cone seems to be smirking because of the swan's misunderstanding (it looks like the cone has a mouth).

Nitpicking, I find the cone to be overexposed in the red channel. Perhaps it would be wise to tone down the red slightly to get more detail out of it.

And congratulations on the ribbon!

Title together with the great picture make this my favourite for a ribbon. Clone minor distractions in the water after the challenge and this picture is perfect.

You might want to clone out the white speck near the swan's reflection in your final version... and play around a bit with the border. This one does nothing for the photo as it gets lost in the bottom half. Otherwise, a great photo and one I would be proud to have on my wall. Good Luck

7 - Good. Criticism; maybe a slightly tighter crop at the fore, giving the 'cone' more height may have made this better in my opinion. Maybe also aiming for more 'symmetry' overall compositionally, not sure. It's dark, but I think that adds an element to this that helps it. Not sure on the thick frame.

This is one of the best pictures in the challenge. The subject is interesting and funny. The placement of the subjects in the frame is good and the picture is well balanced. The lighting is also well done with the exception that the cone is slightly oversaturated but I do not feel that it takes away from the overall unique take on the challenge. Good luck.
