Self portrait. Hooray for the visually appealing wonders of high contrast!

Editing: Lots, trust me. This was taken in my super messy office, and the position was extremely unflattering. Thank goodness for cropping and burning.

I like this photo a lot the green, the red and the contrast with the slightly overexposed skin, overall a fine image, something familiar about it though..

Pose feels awkward. Good colours and exposure. 8.

Interesting color contrast. There are some blowouts on the face and the right breast and I'd crop off the fingers in the lower right. The green vs red works well and her expression is interesting. 7

Oh my gosh, this is just a totally outstanding photo to me! The model is awesome. I love her expression and pose. And brilliance using the contrast of the red hair against the green dress. Awesome lighting, great detail. This is just really doing it for me. Super, duper job. thank-you

The reds..the greens..the dark and light all combine to give this image high contrast in all aspects that I can see.
I like this a lot..especially the way you have handled the light...almost painterly.
Well done

Very nice portrait and color contrast. The only thing...I don't really like how her glasses affect her eye.

One of my top picks. Great color and light/dark contrasts. Only thing a bit off is the color difference between the face and the chest/forehead.

Great tones and focus. Love the pose. Not crazy about the border and I think the crop is a bit tight at the top. Still, all in all a good image though.

The portrait of the model fills the frame nicely. The glasses on the right eye of the model is making it hard to look at. It gives a double eye look, kinda like looking at someone with a cockeye and not knowing which eye to look at when talking to them. I really wished I could have seen both eyes as there is a nice green tone in them that is highlighted by the blouse(sorry if thats spelled wrong but I am a guy). I do like how the neck strap draws the eyes into the clevage area and right into a very high contrast part. The pinkish hue from the check tends to be a nice touch in another high contrast area and softens the look of the red hair. The model overall does have great sex appeal but perhaps could have place the left hand below the waist as to not have it in the shot. The photo definately sparked a response and has both excellent color and clarity and fits the challenge well. Well done and good luck in this challenge. <6>

My appologies if I've picked apart your model or photo but this is what I see when I looked at it in hopes that what I say will help you correct things in the future or for future portraits. Can't wait to see you in the next self color portrait challenge.

I love this. THe colors are beautiful (and very contrasty!) and the pose & look on the model's face are terrific.

Julia?
Has to be.
Cool shot.
Not sure if the glasses splitting the eye works for me
or not.
I can't see any other version, so I will say it does work for me.
Completely confused now? LOL

Julia...this is great!!!! I love the vibrant colors and the attitude in the pose. I think it's very well-done and is a good example of high contrast. Cute shirt too!! :)

I like this "Miss Know It All" expression. hee hee Great use of tonality. I love the pinkish red with the light complexion and green blouse. Great natural feel to it.
