| Dramatic! Central composition works here. The explosion of petals and leaves is spactacular enough not to need added compositional help to steal the show. |

Lots of great eye catching color (and feels like action, even though it's not moving).
Very cool view of this plant, great detail. Reminds me of the "worms of dune", except wrong color. upgrade from 9 to 10. Rob the Swash |

| What an amazing effect! This pic is very appealing, I like it. You have cropped it very tightly but it it works here. If you look at the center of it for a long time your eyes start playing tricks on you :-) |

| Thistle< I just love it. You really captured one here. The colors are good and the composition. I'm not crazy about the light and focus. All in all this is good and made for an interesting shot. |

| I love all the lines drawing me in and out of the main part of the flower. Your focal depth is wonderfully done, too. Exposure is right on and the highlights just "snap". I think you did a nice job with this one. |

| Not a member so I can't vote but this is a really cool shot. If anything, it's a tad bit offcenter to the left, but I like the dof and the shot is stunning. |
