 I didn't do a whole lot to this picture. I had to rotate it a little bit to straighten the horizon. I made curves, sharpen, and contrast adjustments...cropped it and added a border. I think it turned out pretty good. I'll be happy if it makes it into the top 30%...I have a feeling there will be a lot of great pictures in this challenge.

Another somber image....it made me chilly. I find many of these images excellent examples of solitude but not so much minimalism. Nice shot regardless.

I like the contrast and your placement of the girl in the shot, but there is something about the white sky that bugs me. 7

I really like this. Nice lines. The only thing I wish was different is the sky. I wish it either had some color or a few clouds in the sky. A polarizor would help this. Nice job otherwise... 8

I don't understand why the woman in the image needs to be so near the edge of the frame? This image is like so many others in this challenge with the exception of the objects used in the photograph.

I like the texuring of this, but that sky feels so very bizarre ... even though I'm sure it's a levels/exposure thing, it just is weird.

This would have been really improved if the angle had been changed to show more of the water or more of the sand, rather than the blown out sky. Good concept.

The sky is to white, a polorizer might bring some blue out. She doesn't seem stranded to me, just a nice moment at the beach.

Nice looking image, meets the challenge very well. perhaps a tad oversharpened for me. Maybe I would have tried the subject a tiny bit further right, further into the frame but a great submission. Good Luck!
