Congrats on your 18th place. Very nicely done. This was a wonderful image, filled with color and texture, and interesting and fun to view as well. One of my favorites of the challenge. Very well done. :)

I love the textures. What is it sitting in that looks bubbly? Ice?

Beautiful image, the border is really unpleasant

Ohhh....this is beautiful...the velvet texture of the flower surrounded by a lush coolness...is it water...is it ice...I do not know but I do know it is lovely...beautiful light.

Wow. That's phenomenally gorgeous. Lose the border.

I like the colors, and the fading to black. Not too fond of the large border. 6

Excellent backdrop. Nice rich colors. The border is quite prominent and not to my taste, yet beyond that fact, is quite servicable. The image is sharp, detailed, and processed very cleanly without distracting artifacts.

I think the flower is just a bit too large relative to the size of the photo for this challenge and I would prefer if you had decreased its overall size by a third to a half. Still, I think it works well for this challenge and is overall a strong composition. 7

i want to turn the image to verticle position. really pretty, natural appearence. the border might be a little over the top.

i love how the blue fades into a greenish tone and the spash of red color from the flower. the white frame is unnecessary imo. 9

The color gradient bottom and water is what makes the picture unique from all the other cliche rose pictures, excellent work

Nice, I like how the blue color graduates into different shades with the red contrast. Nice effect. Minimal without being bland :)

This one, I like. Great composition and the colours in this image are very pleasing, the red channel isnĀ“t overblown as it can be sometimes with digital cameras and the blue green backround (is that ice) really complements the flower. Still not a 10 from me as I save those for truly mindblowing shots but this is technically flawless and very well done, you got a 9 from me.

Great shot. Shrink the overbearing white border that clashes with the image and this is an excellent shot.

INcredbie, fantastic, very, very interesting compostition, with the water bubbles, the frame might be too much, but wow. were the colours altered in photoshop?? the green and blue and purple on the left hand side? I love it, 8

Very nice and elegant shot. I only feel the border is way too large. I believe the photo would improve greatly if you eliminated the border.

Nicely done but somehow the size and color of the border is rather distracting.

Excellent, I do like the tonal change in the blue green

I do like this idea and the colours. IMO the black extends too far into the frame and creates an unsetteling feel when the rest of the image is quite serene. I would also have liked to have a clearer focal point within the flower - perhaps the centre. But overall an attractive image.

Beautifull, for me this easily mets the theme and if it had my name in the right hand corner would be perfect ;)
If you are going to put this in DPC prints I would clone out the slight imperfection in the top petal,
I would offer some more superlatives, but my spelling is lousey... Well done..
