Great advertising shot! I can't think of any criticisms, it's just a really good shot.

1 frosty beer mug needed - maybe some foam running down the side - MAKE me thirsty.
05/12/2002 05:22:00 PM
Good clear shot but lacks story to sell product. Does the bottle ever go dry?
05/11/2002 03:49:00 PM
Good job, but the beer in the glass and the beer in the bottle (I think) should total one full beer. Was it too warm to get a little dewey on the bottle?
05/11/2002 06:42:00 AM
nice arangement and angle
05/10/2002 01:19:00 AM
Correctly exposed with no distracting reflections or background elements. All in focus. I guess an open bottle is more inviting (but then you'd have had to drink two after the shoot) and the hole in the foam isn't pretty. Overall, a solid image, but without any special appeal.

Nice clean picture. I would have done two things differently. You need some condensation on the bottle and glass to convey a sense of ice cold. Also, a more traditional style of glass or mug would look better than the one chosen. I still like the picture and I applaud your choice of beers.

just like miller, all head, no beer. great photo though
05/08/2002 09:36:00 PM
I like the seamless background and positioning of the bottle and glass.
05/08/2002 02:37:00 PM
It's pretty ordinary but well done. Maybe you could have chilled the bottle in ice water first and then placed it next to the glass to show all of the water dropletts that make it look ice cold. This looks like it could easily be warm beer.

higher points if it had been fat tire. Lighting seems a bit 'lifeless'
05/07/2002 10:32:00 PM
This nice. pure. it seems technically flawless. But it isn't interesting.
05/07/2002 08:19:00 PM
Very professional. For these beverage shots, I always like to see the drink lit up from underneath... It gives it a certain glow. Maybe next time.
05/07/2002 08:06:00 PM
beer is hard to photograph well, it almost always need a little light showing through it to make it eye appealing and the head needs to be caught when the bubbles are still rising, very nice composition though and good sharp focus
05/07/2002 06:14:00 PM
Very nice framing. I am not a drinker, but this looks like it could change my mind, well until I tasted it. Good job.
05/07/2002 05:59:00 PM
Clean and crisp.
05/07/2002 04:52:00 PM
Nice shot! Good sharp focus great composition, an excellent product shot.
05/07/2002 04:30:00 PM
Plain flat out great shot. I like how the glass is just slightly behind the bottle. Too bad the head in the glass was beginning to go away.
05/07/2002 03:21:00 PM
I'm gonna have to look round for some cheap soft boxes, great lighting, setup and angle.
05/07/2002 12:24:00 PM
Looks good, but would be an even better advertisement if it were in a real beer glass.
05/07/2002 11:02:00 AM
This photo is great.. The hole in the foam bugs me..
05/07/2002 07:37:00 AM
spray glycerin on the outside of the glass for the cold sweat look
05/07/2002 03:45:00 AM
That is my biggest problem with America, Beer always has a huge head on it!!!

Just kidding, well, no I'm not, I hate big headed beer but I was just kidding about the stereoptyping bit.

Well taken but a little plain, pics of drinks look great with drips of water I think.
05/06/2002 07:50:00 PM
Great composition, good color, nice photo. Unfortunately, I don't drink, so you didn't sell me. :( ....8
05/06/2002 07:15:00 PM
Good angle. Good lighting, background, focus, etc. Why is the glass not full???
05/06/2002 06:46:00 PM
It's miller time. Love the lighting and the way the foamy head just reaches the top of the glass.
05/06/2002 05:53:00 PM
While this may not be my beer of choice, it is an excellent technical shot. Very Clear, great lighting, good composition. Very nice work!
05/06/2002 05:25:00 PM
The glass does not appeal me. Nice clear picture though.
05/06/2002 03:08:00 PM
Technically flawless - but not very interesting. 8 for the technical performance, but 2 for creative and 5 for advertisement value. That results in a 5.
05/06/2002 02:46:00 PM
Good shot simple yet effective. A couple downsides to the shot, the hole in the head and better beer glass could of been used (not an issue really). Using a spray bottle with a mist setting could add better effect to the bottle and glass.

05/06/2002 02:33:00 PM
very nice crisp clean ad, but not very interesting
05/06/2002 01:25:00 PM
Quality photo, but not alot of "gotcha" affect. Photo 10 Advert 8 Creativity 7 total 8
05/06/2002 12:05:00 PM
i like the execution, great lighting, altho i think the bottle used to fill the glass in place of the unopened full one would make a better ad, as would less beer foam in the glass...
05/06/2002 12:04:00 PM
Good work here.
Would like to see more light or the bottle and glass wet. How do we know it's cold?
05/06/2002 11:35:00 AM
This shot is about as picture perfect as any I have seen in magazines... I don't like MGD but I like this photo!
05/06/2002 09:37:00 AM
Ug, I hate MGD. Don't worry I won't hold it against you. :) Nice composition, no distracting lighting. Its pretty good. Now you just need something to take it over the top, sorry, not sure what that is.
05/06/2002 09:30:00 AM
Nice crisp image. I think another object in the picture, maybe a drink mat or some peanuts might've added more.
05/06/2002 09:27:00 AM
Why are the glass AND the bottle full? Seems as if the bottle should be mostly empty.
05/06/2002 06:43:00 AM
oh yeah ... come to papa .. Lol. I'm at work and I want that beer. Nice shot.
05/06/2002 05:00:00 AM
Hmmmm what to say here. I can't find a flaw. I want just one to criqtiue ! To give my 2 cents about. PERFECT job ! If I had to find something at all, it would be I would like to see this cold looking with water drops on the bottle and maybe the glass. Now tell me, just how did you do this lighting and that awesome background???
