Excellent viewpoint with superb focus and depth of field. Very nice angle on the challenge and it makes me wonder what viewpoints are like from everywhere in a room, from the tightest corner of a floor to the view down from the ceiling. I guess the insects have all the answers there! Good job.

Outstanding shot -- You've really acheived the ant's perspective type shot on this one. I feel like I'm TINY.

Nicely framed up, interesting take on the subject, though maybe a bit bland..
05/05/2002 10:20:00 AM
Very nice !!! the whole picture is captured within the depth of field. I love the way you caught the models face in the reflection.
05/05/2002 06:39:00 AM
do you know 'chuckie'? nice shot, a 10
05/04/2002 10:57:00 PM

A kid's eye view of mom...
05/03/2002 12:37:00 PM
This could be a winner. Great composition, originality, colors, and contrast.
05/03/2002 12:31:00 AM
Definately the perspective of an ant. I love how you took this mundane taskand put creativity into it! Nice work
05/02/2002 01:59:00 PM
Interesting photo. Not sure why, but I like it.
05/01/2002 08:07:00 PM
Nice strong geometrics in foreground, and the brushed steel reflections add a lot to the shot. The colors are nice as well.
05/01/2002 03:39:00 PM
Interesting shot
05/01/2002 11:26:00 AM
Very nice composition and compliance with the challenge. Love it. One of my top three!
05/01/2002 03:39:00 AM
Looks like a little color cast (yellow), and I'd like to see face, but I think this is one of the best takes on the challenge.
05/01/2002 02:56:00 AM
This is great work. The perspective is great and I especially like the effect of the reflection on the dryer. One of my faves.
04/30/2002 04:48:00 PM
yep good imaginative challenge shot
04/30/2002 03:46:00 PM
Good depth of field, meets the challeng perfectly.
04/30/2002 03:23:00 PM
Well done!
04/30/2002 03:13:00 PM
This is a fun pic. Nice lighting and composition. Omnly thing that might have made it more fun would be to have the pic taken from inside the laundry basket!
04/30/2002 11:07:00 AM
makes me want to do laundry! : )
04/30/2002 09:48:00 AM
Nice shot! This is a great interpretation of this challenge. I doubt that this was possible, but cropping out the wall on the left would have made a minor improvement in this shot. Good job!
04/30/2002 05:32:00 AM
interesting viewpoint. I like the laundry basket there - adds something to that side of the pic. Dunno if you tried it but I would have experimented with the reflection off the washing machine
04/30/2002 02:02:00 AM
I really like this picture.. it's amazing how every day things looks so much better from a different angle.. Maybe if I try doing my laundry from that position, I'll enjoy doing it as much as I enjoy looking at this picture.... or probably not.
04/29/2002 09:53:00 PM
You did exactly what the challenge said, and you did it very well. I might have cropped the right side out to enhance the grids on the ceiling.
04/29/2002 09:37:00 PM
I like it all except the wall on the right could be cropped.
04/29/2002 07:46:00 PM
I don't even want to know what the other customers at the laundry mat were thinking about this...this is a good clear shot and I love the basket in the corner....great job!
04/29/2002 03:58:00 PM
Good light, good comp.
04/29/2002 03:53:00 PM
Interesting shot....
04/29/2002 02:59:00 PM
Fun shot -- would have given it another point or two, but I found the way the horizontal lines angled down and to the left made the picture feel unbalanced
04/29/2002 02:12:00 PM
i really like this. great photo.
04/29/2002 01:47:00 PM
Interesting angle and composition, well executed technically.
04/29/2002 11:16:00 AM
Not a very flattering picture of the woman, but I really like the pattern of the laundry basket along with the pattern of the ceiling tiles. What I don't like is the reflection of the woman's face in the very top (I think it spoils the kind of 'any-woman' feeling of it) and the window on the right doesn't add much.
04/29/2002 10:58:00 AM
Hmm... it's an interesting photo, I like the hand especially, but the clothes basket set off against the gridlines on the ceiling is cool too. It just doesn't seem to tell an interesting story. As a scene in a movie it might establish an interesting mood, but on its own it doesn't really grab me.
04/29/2002 10:37:00 AM
my favority pic in the contest.
04/29/2002 09:16:00 AM
good idea
04/29/2002 09:05:00 AM
