 Thank you so much for being my model Teeter . . . and her parents of course. The first day it was VERY sunny where I wanted to photograph and the time of day wasn't ideal. So thankfully, they were willing to step out front and redo their image for me. Happy National Puppy Day!!

EDIT: THANK YOU all for your generous votes & kind words. Why not just move to another spot when the sun was less than optimal (shadows)? Little Teeter isn’t allowed to leave her property until she is fully vaccinated, so I had to make do with what we had available on their property. That said, the owners went on a small trip so I am now puppy sitting AND she may be making an appearance or two in the coming challenges. . . We will see :-)

I photograph families and have done this pose with baby/toddlers so I thought it’d be cute with this darling little puppy. Had to improvise because the puppy is so teeny - thank goodness they had some steps to put her on otherwise it would have looked super awkward bent over too far BUT then the sun in the sky was a problem on day one, thankfully they were open to reshooting a second time.
