 I suggested the challenge... just because I thought the other one was fun to look at.

I had no idea what to shoot for it, so... I spent a couple of hours looking at Gary Larson's work.
I laughed a bunch! :D


I did copy one of his. I worked on it for more hours... and was excited to see what Hubby thought about it.

He got home... and... didn't understand it at all.

Dang it.

Too late now... I'm entering. Too much effort already in it.

Also... I realized after I'd done all of my work, that most of his cartoons are vertical. I'd shot horizontal.
Dang it again.

So... I'm MUCH skinnier than I am in real life.
Ha! And adding the upper and lower also helped me get a bit of vertical.

I can not WAIT to see what everyone comes up with!
I love Gary Larson's humor.

He's weird. We get along well. Ha!

Got my top vote, Lydia - very clever. I kind of wanted the lamb to look more like one . . . but then who would put a whole anything on their plate . . .

Great idea. Maybe Mary doesn't eat much broccoli. And this sounds almost like a cross with an Eric Carle tribute (Very Hungry Caterpillar, author died this week. RIP). Did she get a tummy ache?
