This was taken on my recent visit to Skomer Island in the UK.

The good news is the puffin made it safely back to his burrow.

Thank you for all the wonderful comments. Visiting Skomer and seeing the puffins was one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had.

Awesome capture!! I didn't get a good one of the seagulls chasing the puffin. I had one that was an ok shot, but that's about it. It's a hoot that this many people are going for puffins at the same time. :)

Huge congrats on the HM!

Amazing image, Paul. Well done. I know how hard it is to get these chaps in flight. I guess you had a great time on Skomer.

I'm just jealous that so many people get to regularly see puffins but me! This is amazing. Definitely a top-of-the-heap puffin photo! And like Roz... my first thought was: I hope the puffin ended up okay! Congratulations on an honorable mention with this.

7 from me! So many puffins in this challenge! I hope you all had fun shooting together!

LOL at your title! :D

I'd have cloned out the puffin at the bottom to make it all about the two in flight. But, that's just my opinion.

This is lovely.
