Hey Mark! Very interesting how you and Jake came back to play in the same challenge. Happy to see you both here again! Beautiful location and very well photographed.

Congratulations.

Hah, thanks.

I’m not sure who stacked these but this area has a lot of interesting things along the shoreline from concrete bunkers to brick wall remnants half buried in the sand. It was a happy surprise to find these stacks put up the day I went to shoot the sunset. I’m sure they’re probably all but knocked down by now.

anyway ... thankyou so much for your lovely comment on my robberfly .. insects are a very misunderstood lot .. to me they are endlessly fascinating and pretty damn attractive .. i probably get as much joy photographing them as you do photographing your amazing scenery .. !! .. ;)

Thanks Roz! Definitely likewise that I wish I could take macro photos of insects like you do, they are just fascinating to see and you’re a master at it. Like you the DPL brought me back here but it kind of fried me instead, hehe. This entry was the first photo I’ve taken since the last challenge of the DPL. Hopefully I’ll make it here more often.
