This is a circular sculpture located outside of the Uwajimaya Asian Market in Seattle. The photo was taken from the bottom which is located in the parking garage looking up.

Great feeling of depth in this photo. I really feel constrained in the object.

love it

Truely a ground up shot, but it leaves me empty. Most of us old folks like a little story line in the picture....something to ponder in the future.

Very interesting shot. I like it.

Not too sure what this is, but it makes for an interesting design in a photo. nice job.
05/01/2002 11:49:00 AM
Cool, I like it.

What a great... thing. I'd like the hole up top just a bit higher and to the right to land on a hotspot - maybe get a cloud in there instead of flat blue sky. You could have underexposed a little, too, as the detail on the structure is much less important than its shape, and then you might have saved the clouds.

Perfect!

Whatever this is, I like your image of it! Interesting pic.
04/30/2002 06:12:00 PM
Great exposure. Good sharp focus.
04/30/2002 03:34:00 PM
I love the idea! Would've given somewhat higher rating if the angle was differently and the top opening was further off center. This way, I get the impression it should be centered but isn't. Still a good shot.

oo yeah I like it

I find this one very visually interesting and am curious to find out what it is -- my own personal taste would have been to move the center of the thing further to the right (rule of thirds kind of thing) instead of so close to center

Very nice shot, but something about the framing doesn't seem right, it seems to lean to the left. Good contrasts as well
04/29/2002 09:38:00 PM
Great subject but lacking something in composition?
04/29/2002 07:51:00 PM
I like the "web" this forms...nice take.
04/29/2002 07:25:00 PM
Great shot. No clue what it is, but it looks great. I'm wondering if it would look even better perfectly centered?
04/29/2002 05:53:00 PM
I like the perspective of this pic...and the contrast of the sky and the spiral. Well done!
04/29/2002 05:48:00 PM
insane, what the heck is that thing
04/29/2002 03:38:00 PM
ohhhhhh I like this ! This is how it should be done:)
04/29/2002 03:37:00 PM
Interesting shot, but busy/confusing photo.
04/29/2002 02:16:00 PM
I think I like this shot. I like the geometry and contrast. I am wondering if this shot would be more powerful if it was more symmetrical and centered? Hmmm... interesting thought... good job!
04/29/2002 02:09:00 PM
Nice wrok
04/29/2002 01:56:00 PM
Great perspective.
04/29/2002 12:58:00 PM
Asymmetry works well, I like the pattern
04/29/2002 12:04:00 PM
Sorry that I have nothing constructive to add, this is a very fine photograph.
04/29/2002 11:20:00 AM
Very nice and in keeping with the theme.
04/29/2002 10:17:00 AM
weird geometry always makes a good pic.
04/29/2002 09:37:00 AM
I am puzzled over what this is but no matter it is a great photo and fits the challenge well.
04/29/2002 08:22:00 AM
Nice convergence. Seems slightly off-center - maybe more or less off-centered would have been stronger than just 'slightly'
04/29/2002 06:16:00 AM
nice converging lines here. I think I would have liked it centred
04/29/2002 01:42:00 AM
This shot rocks!
