It still seems weird creating something in photoshop. The stars, galaxies and planet are created. I found an awesome youtube video that gave instructions on how to accomplish it. If anyone's interested, I can go back through my history to find it. I should have added it to my toolbar!

Ok -- back to the info. I had made a Chicken Broccoli Divan casserole for dinner, and the cans of soup were just sitting on my counter, all gooey an gross. (The recipe calls for cream of broccoli soup. It's really not so pretty in a can.)

Any way. Voila! An entry is born. The tab really does stick up in that direction. I did have to rotate a little clockwise so that he could actually grab onto it.

It was really hard to shrink him down to fit in the can. I'd been working for the last couple of years on my star-trek transporter system, crossed with the Wonka-vision. It took a lot of stretching to get him back to normal. I think he might have grown an inch or so in the process, and he was tall to begin with!

Oh -- a couple more things. I'm sorry, but I must admit -- I like Major Tom better than Space Oddity. And Mo really wanted to be in the picture.



He always wants to be in the pictures in which he's not a character. And never wants to be in the ones he's supposed to be in!

Nice reminder of how poetry can take many shapes. It is always very, very hard to create funny images, and I have the greatest respect for that. Not mentioning you made me hungry: I'll definitely have some soup tonight! And of course, congrats on the ribbon.

We all know who this is from :) quite a humorous piece of photography, I can't help think that the lid of the tin can is back to front. Is that right? I could be wrong but it sure seems like he's opening up that lid the other way round.

PS your husband is such a trouper!


PPS you did a great job with the stars and the moon they look awesome! Looking forward to reading your notes and how you created this.
