This can only succeed as eye candy, and as such it has some problems: it is black and white with a big dark vignette, and you're cropped too close for eye candy lovers. Still there is a lot of detail on the face. I think you'll get a straight 6
I think you'll get hit for looking out of the frame so close to the left. The right 1/3 of the picture doesn't do a lot for it, imo, and takes away from the overall. Also the vignette so close on the left closes it down. I think it would have worked much better if you had darkened the right side and not the left (in more of a gradual vignette). I'm guessing 5.65.
He looks thoughtful. Planning his next fishing trip, maybe. Great detail and Eagles are a very popular subject, deduct a smidge for the people who hate captive shots (because this looks like one) and I'll guess you're about right: 6.51

It's a good, clear shot of a majestic animal. I would prefer a crop that left more space in the direction it is facing. A fine photograph, but doesn't give me more information or excitement than I had before it which keeps it from being a super high score. 6.1
Scores a bit overerstimated I say around 6.20, eagle seems crammed into the frame, I like a bit more head room, and the dark thick line behind it's head is rather distracting, but apart from that it's sharp. 6
So sharp in the right places! Well done on the bw conversion. I find the dark line in the bg draws my attention and if it was 'real life' and not dpc rules, I would soften it considerably. 6.62
Nice crisp shot with great detail and a nice sharp eye. But the vignette doesn't do it for me and the crop. Would have like more room in front of the eagle rather than the back.
