Lovely pet portrait - light is maybe a bit strong. Not a fan of the wrinkled surface he's on. Love the direct gaze and alert pose. Gave it an eight but would not expect it to score much higher than your guess. 6.3
I like this, its well done. the lighting is attractive black back ground id awesome, i'n not sure if i like the movement in the drop sheet or not it would be more relaxed if the sheet weren't wrinkled but does it need to be relaxed, maybe not eh? I'm hoping you underestimated your score, I'm going to predict at least 7 and vote an eight Good Luck
This is a dignified portrait and I like the rich gold tones. I do not like the black background just because it's dull and no challenge. But this will not bother DPC voters. I will give you a six and they will give you 6.57
Not a bad pet portrait, I just feel like getting in there and straightening the rug, but I know how it is he probably moved around a bit before you got this right :)

Excellent lighting. Processing is wonderful. I thought at first that the blanket wrinkles detracted, but upon further consideration I like them. I scored higher than: 6.43
Beautiful healthy looking dog. Nice crisp image that really pops.
But I the contrast between the black background and the floor cloth give an uneasy felling of the dog being on an edge. Like he/she could fall off the back. I punched in a seven.

Hello, I voted a few days ago, now returning for comments. I think that you estimated your score very well, I first gave you a six and now raising it to seven, I predict that you will finish at 6,2897
OK, 6.3 I'm torn here. On the one hand it's a terrific portrait of a fine looking dog. On the other hand it feels a bit artificial, though I can't pinpoint exactly why.
Beautiful dog. Nice focus and pose. The lighting is pretty good too - just a little hot in a couple small spots. I have to give you higher than your guess.
What a sweet doggie portrait. Great light which accents the brandy colored coat. Maybe the head is a teensy too centered, but with the extended front leg, the pose balances out the composition and horizontal alignment. Gorgeous, adoring brown eyes. Going to get more than a 6 from me.
